There is a potential source of confusion in the guard switch types used on the Stuga machines. Several years ago, the source of the guard switch was changed from Guardmaster to Omron. Confusion has followed ever since because another type of Guardmaster switch has been introduced. They are not compatible with each other without fiddly modification, so it is important to replace like with like. There are 3 types
